Job Title

Digital Product Engineer

Role Summary

Validate digital SoC chips and develop manufacturing test solutions from project planning through high-volume manufacturing. Work with SoC design, software/system, test engineering, and product engineering to deliver ATE, SLT, and bench validation, and HVM test implementations focused on power, performance and reliability.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Typical experience expectations: Bachelor's +2 years, Master's +1 year, or PhD (see Education Requirements).

Responsibilities

Primary duties involve silicon validation, test development, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Plan and execute digital SoC validation on ATE, SLT, and bench.
  • Develop test hardware and HVM test solutions for production.
  • Collaborate with SW, system, design, process, and customer engineering on power and performance testing.
  • Perform ATE system correlation for power and performance and analyze test data using statistical methods.
  • Support product reliability qualification activities (ESD/LU, HTOL, package qualification).
  • Provide project updates to management, manage stakeholders, and assess project risks.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital SoC development, silicon validation, and high-volume manufacturing test.
  • Hands-on experience with ATE/SLT test coverage and test hardware development.
  • Data analytics and statistics skills for test data analysis and correlation.
  • Familiarity with product reliability qualification processes and test correlation for power/performance.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and deliver quality results.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field plus 2+ years of hardware engineering experience; OR Master's degree in those fields plus 1+ year of hardware engineering experience; OR PhD in those fields. Equivalent practical experience may satisfy degree requirements.
