Role Summary
The Digital IC Design Engineer will define, design, model and verify digital circuits and processor subsystems to meet performance, power, cost and schedule targets. The role sits on a product development engineering team focused on DSP/ARM heterogeneous multicore systems, 64-bit processor development, and associated memory and coherence subsystems.

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include architecture, detailed design, modeling and verification work across digital processor subsystems and supporting activities:
- Architect and specify digital circuits and system-level processor subsystems (DSP, ARM, MMU, caches, shared memory).
- Design, model and verify digital logic and processor blocks to meet performance, power and cost targets.
- Develop behavioral models and CPU simulators; contribute to ISA and vector-processor feature development.
- Perform high-level analysis of architecture trade-offs and provide recommendations to system and business stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and produce required design and product documentation.
- Characterize prototypes, develop test specifications and coordinate with test/product engineering for product releases.
- Supervise or coordinate IC layout activities to ensure performance objectives are met.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is stated as a minimum.
