Job Title

Digital IC Design Engineer 6 DCC DAC

Role Summary

Design and verify high-performance digital circuits that interface with analog blocks for high-speed mixed-signal communication ICs. Work covers RTL coding, simulation, synthesis, timing closure, verification, and chip-level evaluation and debugging.

The role collaborates closely with analog designers and other engineering teams, and contributes to test methods, specifications, documentation, and demo hardware.

Mid-level (3+ years of relevant experience)

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include design, verification, and delivery of high-speed digital and mixed-signal communication chips.

  • Define design requirements and implement RTL for digital blocks.
  • Perform simulation, synthesis, timing closure, and verification.
  • Evaluate, debug, and optimize chips at circuit and behavioral levels.
  • Develop test methods and specifications; support data sheets and demo board work.
  • Analyze complex problems and propose technical solutions.
  • Plan and organize tasks to meet project deadlines with varying levels of supervision.
  • Communicate and coordinate with analog and digital teams; participate in cross-functional work groups.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant digital IC design experience.
  • Thorough understanding of digital logic design.
  • Familiarity with SystemVerilog and simulator tools.
  • Good understanding of analog functionality and exposure to analog IC design methods.
  • Systematic problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with digital verification methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in teams, manage time, and drive results in fast-paced environments.
