Digital IC Design Engineer
Role Summary
As a Digital IC Design Junior Engineer in Marvell’s Connectivity Business Unit, you will implement test architecture and digital logic for high-speed coherent transceivers targeting 800G+ connectivity applications. You will work with verification, synthesis, timing closure, and physical implementation teams to deliver block-level designs and documentation.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- RTL design and coding.
- Develop testbench simulations and perform verification.
- Debug design issues and ensure functional correctness.
- Create block-level specifications and documentation.
- Support synthesis, timing closure, and physical implementation by providing constraints, documentation, and resolving design issues.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Implement Design for Test hardware and techniques where applicable for high-speed circuits.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and abilities:
- Proficiency in RTL design using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
- Solid understanding of digital logic design, synchronous design principles, and hardware state machines.
- Experience with simulation and debugging tools (ModelSim, VCS, Questa, or similar).
- Ability to collaborate with verification, physical design, and other cross-functional teams.
- Proficient English communication (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and in teams and prepare technical presentations.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Design for Test hardware and techniques in VLSI.
- Experience in architectural design and implementation in VLSI or FPGA.
- Familiarity with standard verification methods (e.g., UVM), regression and test planning.
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments and experience with EDA tools.
- Creative problem-solving for high-speed design challenges.
Education Requirements
