Digital IC Design Engineer (2027 New Graduate)

Role Summary

As a Digital IC Design Engineer on the product development engineering team in Shanghai, you will define, design, model and verify digital circuits and processor subsystems to meet performance, power, cost and schedule targets. Work areas include CPU/DSP microarchitecture, 64-bit processor and vector ISA work, simulator development, implementation and verification.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” new graduate / campus recruitment (Career Accelerator Program). Suitable for recent bachelor's graduates; no specific years of prior professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Architect and design digital IC blocks and processor subsystems to meet specifications.
  • Define, model and verify digital circuits, and develop behavioral models.
  • Provide high-level analysis of architecture trade-offs for performance, power and cost.
  • Participate in design reviews and produce necessary design and product documentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate IC layout activities to meet performance targets.
  • Characterize prototypes, develop test specifications and coordinate with test/product engineering for product releases.
  • Collaborate with system engineering, business teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
