Digital Healthcare System Applications Engineer
Role Summary
The engineer will deliver system-level application support for Analog Devices' Digital Healthcare (DHC) business in China and the APGC region, focusing on surgical systems, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), life science instrumentation, and biosensing platforms.
The role drives system architectures, reference designs, and customer engagements to enable design wins by coordinating across ADI product groups, DHC BU, Sales, and FAEs.
Experience Level
Mid-level β typically requires 5+ years of experience in application, system, or hardware design.
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities for this role include:
- Provide system-level application support for surgical, IVD, life science, and biosensor applications.
- Create and optimize system architectures, block diagrams, and reference designs for healthcare systems.
- Support customer engagements from concept through design-in, development, and production; identify and resolve application challenges to enable design wins.
- Generate benchmark data, analyze technical trends and competitor solutions, and produce technical insights to position ADI technologies.
- Develop technical collateral such as application notes, reference designs, and training materials; deliver technical training for FAE and sales teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and act as a customer-facing technical resource.

- 5+ years of experience in application, system, or hardware design.
- Strong technical background in sensors and analog/mixed-signal signal chains.
- Proven problem-solving ability and customer-facing experience.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~25β30%).
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with power management, processors, or software integration.
- Prior experience in healthcare systems (surgical, IVD, instrumentation, biosensors).
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
