Role Summary

Join NXP's Driver & Energy Systems (DES) product line to support development of Battery Management System (BMS) and 48V mixed-signal products for automotive and industrial applications. The role focuses on digital IP implementation and verification within SoC projects and collaboration with analog, verification, and layout teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level — approximately 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include digital block implementation, verification, and integration across the SoC flow.

• Implement and verify digital IP modules, including safety-critical blocks.
• Contribute to the full digital design flow: SoC integration, synthesis, DFT, CDC/RDC checks, static timing analysis, and follow-up through place & route.
• Work with cross-functional teams (analog design, verification, layout) to resolve integration issues.
• Participate in improving design tools and methodologies.
• Progress toward leading the SOC digital execution (design to backend and tape-out) within 2–3 years.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes for the role.

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar digital design role.
• Strong scripting skills: TCL, Python, and shell scripting.
• Logical analysis and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams; team player attitude.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and strong communication skills.
• Proactive mindset: open to new ideas and able to take initiative to implement improvements.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
