Job Title

Digital Design Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Bluetooth IP team to design and implement digital logic for advanced wireless connectivity (Bluetooth and related standards). You will define micro-architecture, deliver RTL and FPGA prototypes, and work with cross-functional teams (architecture, system, HW, SW, validation, customer support) to meet performance and reliability targets.

Experience Level

Mid-level (3+ years of hands-on digital design and verification experience).

Responsibilities

The role focuses on end-to-end digital design and verification for wireless MAC/PHY modules and related sub-systems.

  • Define micro-architecture for Bluetooth / 802.15.4 MAC and PHY modules.
  • Own RTL design and verification activities.
  • Implement designs on FPGA for prototyping and co-simulation.
  • Support validation and certification efforts and assist application/customer support when required.
  • Plan, track, and report project progress and deliverables.
  • Produce documentation: micro-architecture, interfaces, and module-level tests.
  • Propose and implement process, technology, and tooling improvements.

Requirements

Key technical and professional requirements. Education is summarized separately below.

Must-have:

  • 3+ years proven hands-on experience in digital design and verification.
  • Strong Verilog / SystemVerilog coding skills.
  • Solid understanding of the digital design flow: micro-architecture, RTL, testbench development, code coverage, synthesis, verification, and co-simulation.
  • Practical experience with FPGA implementation and prototyping.
  • Effective written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across teams and work autonomously.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and proactive.
  • Project planning and progress-tracking capability.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written).

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of wireless protocols: Wi‑Fi (802.11), Bluetooth, UWB, Cellular (3GPP), or 802.15.4.
  • Experience with SoC or sub-system architecture and integration.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a similar technical field (as stated in the source).
