Role Summary

Micron Technology seeks an engineer to design and optimize digital circuits for DRAM products. The role focuses on RTL implementation, timing closure, and collaboration with verification, test, product engineering, and process teams to deliver robust DRAM block- and chip-level designs.

Experience Level

Mid-level. The role requires approximately 6 years of relevant digital/RTL circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include hands-on RTL work, timing closure, and cross-team integration to ensure design quality and manufacturability.

• Design and optimize RTL for DRAM-related digital circuits and block-level modules.
• Perform static timing analysis (STA) and drive timing closure across critical paths.
• Collaborate with verification, product engineering, test, and process teams to resolve design issues.
• Support circuit verification, layout checks, and parasitic extraction analysis.
• Contribute to power delivery network circuit design and optimization.

• Must-have: ~6 years of experience in digital or RTL circuit design with strong RTL implementation skills.
• Must-have: Proven experience with STA and driving timing closure.
• Must-have: Experience with power delivery network circuit design and optimization.
• Must-have: Proficiency in UNIX and Cadence design environments.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with synthesis tools and IC compilers.
• Nice-to-have: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in teams.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
