Job Title

Digital and Mixed Signal IC Design/DV Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Current Sensing product line developing shunt- and Hall-based mixed-signal current sensing ICs. The role contributes across the IC development lifecycle: architecture, digital and mixed-signal design, design verification (DV), tapeout and silicon bring-up.

This position works with cross-functional design and system teams to ensure first-pass silicon success and to improve verification methods and automation.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career β€” minimum 2 years of relevant experience as listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include design, verification, test development, and collaboration to deliver mixed-signal ICs.

  • Contribute to full IC development lifecycle: RTL design, synthesis, place & route, scan pattern generation, and timing analysis.
  • Develop and implement verification methodologies for mixed-signal ICs, including testbench creation and automation using DMS and AMS stimulus and checkers.
  • Create test plans and simulations at RTL and gate levels using SystemVerilog, VHDL, and UVM environments.
  • Define Design for Verification (DFV) architectures, triage and resolve bugs, and support silicon bring-up.
  • Drive verification coverage, track progress, and report status, issues, and risks.
  • Improve DV strategy, tools, scripts, and methodologies to increase automation and quality.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications extracted from the posting.

  • Must-have: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must-have: Thorough understanding of digital logic design.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL and common simulators.
  • Must-have: Systematic problem-solving approach.
  • Nice-to-have: Understanding of analog functionality and exposure to analog IC design methods.
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of mixed-signal and digital verification flow, analog block modeling, RTL, FSMs, GLS, timing, synchronization, and power domains.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with timing verification using gates+SDF, PVT variation, and timing across analog/digital boundaries.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and ability to take initiative.

Education Requirements

Master's Degree (listed in the posting under Degree Level). No specific field of study or equivalent-experience language was specified in the source.
