Role Summary
Senior verification role focused on Design-for-Debug (DFX) and full-chip/system verification for SoC and FPGA designs. The engineer will define verification strategy, create UVM-based testbenches and test cases, and work with design, software and architecture teams to reach coverage goals.
Experience Level
Mid-level (typical: 5+ years of experience in complex ASIC design or verification). Suitable for engineers with substantial hands-on verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and execute pre-silicon system verification for SoC, FPGA and full-chip designs.
- Develop UVM testbenches and create test cases to validate DFX/debug architectures.
- Define verification strategies, methodologies and test plans to achieve coverage targets.
- Coordinate cross-functional verification efforts with design, software and architecture teams.
- Use system-level applications to verify performance and identify gaps.
- Support emulation-based verification where applicable (preferred, not mandatory).
Requirements
Must-have and preferred skills:
-

-
Must-have: Proficient with SystemVerilog and UVM verification methodology.
-
Must-have: Experience with formal verification methods.
-
Must-have: Experience verifying DFX/debug architectures (JTAG, USB, PCIe-based debug, internal signal visualization).
-
Must-have: Good communication skills and experience working with distributed teams.
-
Preferred: Experience with ARM and RISC debug architectures and design verification of those interfaces.
-
