Job Title
DFT Engineer
Role Summary
Design and implement Design-for-Test (DFT) solutions for ASIC and SoC projects to ensure high manufacturing quality, test coverage, and efficient production testing. Work within an ASIC/SoC engineering team and collaborate with design, verification, physical design, and product engineering throughout the development lifecycle.
Onsite role in Santa Clara, CA. Long-term contract engagement with preference for local candidates or those able to work onsite.
Experience Level
Mid-level β 5+ years of hands-on DFT experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing DFT architecture, implementing test infrastructure, and supporting silicon bring-up and production test activities.
- Design and implement DFT architecture for ASIC and SoC designs.
- Develop and integrate scan compression, MBIST, LBIST, JTAG, and IJTAG solutions.
- Perform ATPG, fault simulation, and test coverage analysis.
- Support silicon bring-up, debug, characterization, and production test activities.
- Collaborate with Design, Verification, Physical Design, and Product Engineering teams during the development cycle.
