DFT Engineer
Role Summary
Design and develop integrated circuits with responsibility for ASIC definition, design, verification and documentation across the full implementation flow. Serve as a technical lead within a hardware design team, coordinating delivery, cross-functional stakeholders and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical ownership of ASIC design activities and leadership of major projects.
- Define architecture, logic design and module interfaces for system-level simulation.
- Drive RTL-to-GDSII implementation: synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure and power analysis.
- Analyze and evaluate process flow, tooling and vendor capabilities; run experiments and evaluate results.
- Lead project planning and delivery for new products/processes; champion significant programs.
- Coach and mentor junior team members and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
Requirements
Must-have technical and leadership capabilities required to execute complex ASIC/DFT projects.
- Proven experience in architecture and logic design and system simulation.
- Practical knowledge of synthesis, place-and-route, timing and power analysis.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading design delivery and cross-functional coordination.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, select appropriate methods and drive solutions to completion.
- Experience evaluating vendor capability and integrating external support into development flows.
- Demonstrated coaching, mentoring and team leadership experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years; or PhD with 3+ years. Post-graduate coursework may be desirable. (Degrees in engineering or other technical fields are implied by the role.)
