Role Summary

Lead a DFT-focused team within AMD's Central DFX organization to define and implement testability for complex SoCs and IP blocks. The role drives automated DFT design flows, validates DFT features, and collaborates with CAD/tooling and in-house teams to improve test coverage and debug throughput for HPC and AI products.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, DFT architecture, automation, validation, and cross-team collaboration.

• Lead and mentor a team of DFT engineers; provide technical direction and feedback.
• Architect and specify DFT features for complex SOC and ASIC designs.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain automated DFT design flows and regression frameworks.
• Create and run design checks using standard and in-house tools; validate DFT implementations.
• Deliver scalable scripts and tools (Perl, Python, TCL) for DFT implementation and flow automation.
• Monitor regression results, debug failures, and analyze test/coverage metrics.
• Develop in-house automation utilities, portals, and AI/ML applications to support DFT and test processes.
• Collaborate with CAD, tooling, and other engineering teams to integrate DFT solutions into design flows.

Requirements
