DFT Application Engineer Manager
Role Summary
Manage the Shanghai Applications Engineering (AE) team to deliver and deploy DFT flows, methodologies and test solutions for customers across markets such as autonomous systems, AI, HPC and mobile networking. Act as primary customer technical contact to assess DFT requirements, lead engagements, and communicate customer needs to TestMAX product R&D.

Senior. This role expects approximately 8β10 years of project DFT execution experience and prior team leadership or management experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, customer-facing consultation, and driving test methodology delivery.
- Lead and coordinate the Shanghai AE team to win and execute TestMAX engagements.
- Provide customer consultation on test solutions during design planning and budgeting.
- Review and advise on test methodology and RTL design-for-test rules.
- Implement DFT compression and ATPG flows for SSAF, transition delay, cell-aware and other advanced fault models.
- Architect and implement built-in self-test (BIST) solutions for memory and logic.
- Participate in customer design and flow reviews and support diagnostics and debug activities.
- Integrate test automation with RTL parsing, scan synthesis, physical design and sign-off verification tools.
- Produce methodology documentation and white papers as required.
- Provide technical consulting to customers using Synopsys test automation tools across diverse scenarios.
