DevOps and Automation Engineer – ICPE
Role Summary
Join the IC Test and Product Engineering group in NVIDIA Networking to develop automation, CI/CD, and test infrastructure for Network Silicon IC products (Switches, NICs, SmartNICs). You will work with test engineers, design teams, IT, and test houses to improve automation, data collection, and analysis across design-to-production workflows.

Mid-level - typically requires 3+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, automation, DevOps, or infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include building and maintaining automation, CI/CD, and engineering tools that support test and product engineering workflows.
- Develop, maintain, and improve engineering applications and automation tools.
- Design, implement, and support CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and GitLab.
- Automate test program validation, execution, packaging, and release.
- Support design-test engineering automation flows and enable lab/test-factory capabilities.
- Develop internal applications and utilities in Python and C#.
- Improve data collection, analysis, and reporting for test and characterization results.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of automation systems.
- Collaborate across teams (test, design, IT, test houses) to deliver automation solutions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and behaviors for the role.
- 3+ years experience in software engineering, automation, DevOps, or infrastructure development.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C#; C/C++ is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, and CI/CD methodologies.
- High proficiency with Git and source-control practices.
- Experience building internal tools, applications, or automation frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and focus on reducing manual work through automation.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across diverse teams.
- Customer-focused and execution-oriented with high quality standards.
Nice-to-have:
- GUI/application development, web-based tools, cloud technologies.
- VBA/VB6 or Java experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor test flows, HW/SW interfaces, lab automation, or manufacturing/test environments.
- Experience building internal platforms and deployment pipelines.
Education Requirements
BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
