Device Characterization Engineer, Central Services Lab (New College Graduate)
Role Summary
Entry-level engineer joining the Central Services Lab to support silicon characterization, electrical measurement, and data analysis that enable accurate device models and robust PDK delivery.
The role works with technology development, modeling, process integration, and reference circuit teams to validate silicon and support test-plan execution and correlation.

Responsibilities
Work in a lab-based team to collect, validate, analyze, and report device measurement data and support model development and PDK delivery.
- Perform device characterization and electrical testing at wafer and structure level (DC, CV, RF fundamentals when applicable).
- Assist with data analysis, validation, reporting, and test-plan execution.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on model development and measurement correlation.
- Troubleshoot measurement anomalies, conduct retests, and address data quality issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts or small tools to improve data processing and workflow efficiency.
- Document results and contribute to technical reviews and internal reports.
- Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and perform work safely.

Nice-to-have: Prior internship or co-op experience and hands-on electrical testing or lab measurement experience.

Education Requirements
Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited program is required. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0. Academic exposure to semiconductor device physics is expected.
