Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on designing, executing, and scaling electrical characterization and analysis for memory devices and communicating results to cross-functional teams.
- Lead electrical characterization of advanced DRAM and emerging memory devices.
- Develop and scale characterization methodologies, models, and standards across development and production.
- Design and automate test flows, data pipelines, and analysis tools.
- Investigate device behavior, reliability mechanisms, and root causes; establish time-zero baselines.
- Operate and maintain parametric test equipment and wafer-level or ATE systems.
- Collaborate with process, build, and systems teams and present technical findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience required for successful performance in this role.
- Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and electrical characterization, with emphasis on DRAM and emerging memory architectures.
- Experience with reliability characterization and establishing time-zero baselines.
- Hands-on experience with parametric test equipment and wafer-level or ATE test systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for automation and data analysis.
- Experience using AI/LLM-based tools for automation and data analysis.
- Ability to design and automate test flows and data pipelines, and to develop analysis tools and models.
- Clear technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience scaling characterization methods into manufacturing flows.
- Demonstrated technical leadership or subject-matter expertise in device characterization.
- Strong problem-solving skills applied across process and product teams.
Education Requirements
MS or PhD (or equivalent practical experience) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. The posting allows equivalent experience in lieu of an advanced degree.
