Role Summary
Join the High Voltage & Protection (HVP) team to create analog layout blocks for DCE Group products. Collaborate with schematic designers and global layout teams to deliver designs that meet schedule, quality, and project requirements.
Experience Level
Entry-level - requires at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on developing analog block layouts and supporting project objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Create and implement analog block-level layouts consistent with project specifications.
- Collaborate with schematic designers, senior engineers, and global layout teams.
- Participate in design reviews and iterate on layout based on feedback.
- Ensure layouts meet schedule, design, quality, reliability, and verification requirements.
- Contribute process and design-improvement ideas to the team.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional behaviors required for the role:
- Hands-on analog block-level layout experience.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics, cross-section, and construction.
- Strong knowledge of layout principles, reliability, and failure mechanisms.
- Good oral and written communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional global teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% and work standard day shift (1st Shift).
Nice-to-have:
- Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso XL and Calibre verification tools.
- Layout experience in P90, 180nm, Vanguard technology nodes.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
