Design Verification Senior Staff Engineer
Role Summary
Senior verification engineer responsible for planning and executing functional and performance verification of storage IP and other digital designs. Works within the Marvell Compute and Custom Solutions organization to ensure design correctness and delivery.
Leads verification strategy, builds and maintains testbenches, debugs failures, and mentors junior verification engineers.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include verification planning, testbench development, and collaboration with design teams.
- Develop and implement verification plans for storage IP and digital designs.
- Create and maintain simulation testbenches using industry-standard verification methodologies.
- Perform functional and performance verification and analyze simulation results.
- Debug design and simulation failures and produce detailed reports.
- Collaborate with RTL design and architecture teams to resolve issues.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior verification engineers.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Proficient in verification languages and methodologies: SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Proficient with scripting languages such as Python or Perl for test automation.
- Strong understanding of ASIC design flow, digital design, and verification methodologies.
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools (for example Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Education Requirements
BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
