Responsibilities
Work with verification, architecture, and design engineers to validate silicon designs and uncover implementation issues.
- Develop and execute verification plans and test benches to achieve architecture coverage goals.
- Build and maintain verification environments and test infrastructure.
- Run and analyze emulation and simulation to validate functionality, performance, and power metrics.
- Perform root-cause analysis and debug design issues using standard tooling.
- Collaborate with architecture and design teams to verify correctness and performance optimizations.
- Document results and propose corrective or improvement actions.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in functional silicon verification.
Requirements
Minimum technical skills and experience expected for successful candidates. (Degrees and academic items are summarized separately below.)
- Understanding of logic design, computer architecture, and verification methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry-standard simulation, emulation, or debugging tools and flows.
- Proficiency in hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, C/C++).
- Basic experience with simulation/emulation runs, testbench creation, and debug workflows (can be from coursework or internships).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical findings clearly.
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of DRAM memory technology.
Education Requirements
