Role Summary
Staff-level design verification engineer in the DSP Architecture and Design team within Qualcomm's Engineering Group. Responsible for verifying high-performance microprocessor and IP designs to ensure functional correctness and readiness for tape-out.
Works with architects, RTL designers, and firmware teams to plan verification, develop testbenches and environments, execute verification campaigns, and debug design issues to closure.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute verification plans for microprocessor cores and IP.
- Create and maintain simulation testbenches and verification environments.
- Implement directed and constrained-random tests and verification scenarios.
- Perform RTL and verification debug, root-cause analysis, and issue tracking.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, firmware, and validation teams to drive design quality and sign-off.
- Report verification progress and metrics to project stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Experience with high-performance microprocessor design (posting specifies at least 2+ years in several variants).
- Practical experience in software engineering, electrical engineering, or systems engineering as applicable to design verification.
