Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Lead verification strategy and deliver signoff-quality verification across multiple IP blocks and subsystems. Collaborate with ML and software teams to integrate AI-assisted workflows and verification tooling.
This role provides high ownership of verification engineering, tooling, and customer-facing work in a fast-moving startup environment.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include driving verification from testbench architecture through signoff and integrating automation and AI into verification flows.
- Own verification strategy across multiple IP blocks and subsystems, from testbench architecture to signoff.
- Design and develop AI-assisted workflows to accelerate verification, coverage closure, and debug.
- Build reusable verification frameworks using SystemVerilog, UVM, Python, and custom automation tooling.
- Collaborate with ML and software teams to integrate models into DV environments.
- Drive tapeout readiness; own quality metrics, regression health, and coverage targets.
- Work with customers in forward-deployed capacity when needed and translate design challenges into product features.
- Mentor junior engineers and help define best practices for next-generation verification teams.

Must-have:
- 4–6 years of hands-on verification experience.
- Strong SystemVerilog and UVM skills with deep debug capability.
- Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages.
- Ability to work across domains and communicate with software, ML teams, customers, and leadership.
- Track record of driving quality and ownership in verification projects.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with formal verification, co-simulation, or stimulus-generation frameworks.
- Background in ML, LLMs, data pipelines, or tool development.
- Previous customer-facing or forward-deployed engineering experience.
- Experience building verification tools and frameworks used by other teams.
