Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role focused on verification and support of mixed‑signal integrated circuit designs. The engineer will work with senior designers and cross‑functional teams to verify analog and digital blocks, run simulations, support layout and silicon validation, and document results.

Entry-level — suitable for fresh graduates and early career engineers.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute verification tasks for mixed‑signal ICs, covering analog blocks (ADC, DAC, PLL) and digital interfaces.
• Perform circuit simulations using industry tools and analyze results to guide design changes.
• Support layout engineers to ensure designs meet specifications and constraints.
• Participate in design reviews and maintain verification documentation and methodologies.
• Assist in silicon bring‑up, validation, and hardware debugging of mixed‑signal circuits.
• Collaborate with digital design, verification, and test engineering teams for successful integration.

Requirements

Core technical skills and attributes required:

• Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit fundamentals and mixed‑signal concepts.
• Familiarity with semiconductor device physics and circuit behavior.
• Experience or coursework using circuit simulation tools (SPICE, QSPICE, Cadence tools preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and design reviews.

Nice-to-have:

• Hands‑on exposure to Cadence Virtuoso or other EDA toolflows.
• Prior internship or project experience with mixed‑signal IC design or verification.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
