Role Summary

As a Design Engineering Intern at Qorvo, you will support RF and analog design projects within the Connectivity & Sensors, Advanced Cellular, or High Performance Analog groups. Projects focus on measurement automation, resonator/BAW simulation and testing, and data analysis; specific assignments depend on business needs.

This is a mentored, hands-on internship intended to provide practical engineering experience and exposure to test and design workflows.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Internship). Intended for currently enrolled college students; no professional experience required beyond relevant coursework or project experience.

Responsibilities

Typical internship responsibilities may include:

• Use AI tools to automate measurement analysis
• Perform BAW thermal simulations using ANSYS
• Define BAW resonator ruggedness test plans
• Work with test engineers to perform resonator-level power limit tests
• Analyze data across resonators and different filter technologies
• Propose resonator ruggedness limit conditions for filter design

Requirements

Essential and preferred technical qualifications:

• Coursework or hands-on experience in analog/RF circuit design (required)
• Familiarity with RF measurement principles and test coordination (preferred)
• Experience or exposure to design and simulation tools such as ADS, AWR, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, FEM tools, or Dynamic Link (preferred)
• Prior use of ANSYS for simulations (preferred)
• Basic data analysis and scripting capability to process measurement results (preferred)
• Ability to work in a mentor-driven team environment and present findings to stakeholders (required)

Education Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program. The posting specifically targets students pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering; related technical degrees (electrical/computer engineering or similar) are applicable.
