Job Title

Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for automotive power-management products using sub-micron BiCMOS/DMOS processes. Work on switching and linear regulators and other power-management ICs for automotive applications such as ADAS, instrumentation, audio, cameras, and vehicle lighting.

Participate across the full product development cycle — from product definition, circuit synthesis and simulation to layout supervision and product release — and mentor junior engineers.

Experience Level

Entry-level (approximately 1+ years of semiconductor and/or analog circuit design experience).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Define product requirements and perform circuit synthesis from transistor/resistor level up to system level.
  • Simulate, validate, and iterate analog/mixed-signal designs.
  • Supervise and coordinate layout activities with layout engineers.
  • Participate in the full product development lifecycle through product release.
  • Mentor and oversee the work of more junior engineers.

Requirements

Required skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of power conversion architectures (e.g., buck, boost).
  • Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuits, including amplifiers, bandgap references, and data converters.
  • Understanding of power-converter control schemes (voltage-mode, current-mode, etc.).
  • Familiarity with analog layout techniques and layout supervision.
  • Approximately 1+ years of semiconductor and/or analog circuit design experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE) as specified in the posting. The role expects ~1+ years of semiconductor and/or analog circuit design experience.
