Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for automotive power-management products using sub-micron BiCMOS/DMOS processes. Work on switching and linear regulators and other power-management ICs for automotive applications such as ADAS, instrumentation, audio, cameras, and vehicle lighting.
Participate across the full product development cycle — from product definition, circuit synthesis and simulation to layout supervision and product release — and mentor junior engineers.
Experience Level
Entry-level (approximately 1+ years of semiconductor and/or analog circuit design experience).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define product requirements and perform circuit synthesis from transistor/resistor level up to system level.
- Simulate, validate, and iterate analog/mixed-signal designs.
- Supervise and coordinate layout activities with layout engineers.
- Participate in the full product development lifecycle through product release.
- Mentor and oversee the work of more junior engineers.
Requirements
Required skills and experience:
- Knowledge of power conversion architectures (e.g., buck, boost).
- Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuits, including amplifiers, bandgap references, and data converters.
- Understanding of power-converter control schemes (voltage-mode, current-mode, etc.).
- Familiarity with analog layout techniques and layout supervision.
- Approximately 1+ years of semiconductor and/or analog circuit design experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE) as specified in the posting. The role expects ~1+ years of semiconductor and/or analog circuit design experience.
