Job Title

Design and Verification Engineer, Pathfinding

Role Summary

As a Design and Verification Engineer on the Pathfinding Design Team, you will verify full-chip functionality and contribute to array architecture, mixed-signal circuits, and interface block development for next-generation memory technologies.

You will work across the full design flow β€” verification planning, SystemVerilog testbench development, circuit simulation and optimization, and floor planning β€” to enable novel memory concepts.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Years of experience not specified.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include full-chip verification, collaboration with design teams, and circuit-related development across the memory design path.

  • Perform full-chip functional verification for memory development projects.
  • Develop verification plans from composition specifications.
  • Build SystemVerilog testbenches and apply SystemVerilog assertions to achieve functional coverage.
  • Collaborate with digital design teams to debug test cases and ensure functional accuracy.
  • Contribute to array architecture definition and analysis.
  • Perform circuit simulation, optimization, and floor planning.
  • Work on mixed-signal circuit development for memory interfaces and arrays.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and tools; preferred skills listed separately.

  • Proficiency with UNIX and Cadence design environments, including simulation, schematic entry, and SPF extraction.
  • Experience with circuit-level verification using analog tools, SPICE, and Verilog.
  • Hands-on experience developing SystemVerilog testbenches and assertions.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor physics and electronic circuits.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with design-for-test (DFT) methodologies for memory products.
  • Exposure to RTL verification, static timing analysis (STA), or timing-accurate Verilog.

Education Requirements
