Role Summary

Design hardware accelerator and processor architectures that enable state-of-the-art machine learning and data analytics on next-generation mobile, embedded, and datacenter platforms. Join the deep learning architecture team and collaborate with DL researchers, hardware architects, and software engineers to deliver features for future GPUs.

Experience Level

Entry-level (New college graduate). The posting requires approximately 2+ years of relevant experience in related areas.

Responsibilities

Contribute to architectural features and performance improvements that accelerate deep learning workloads on GPUs.

  • Analyze behavior of deep learning methods and workloads to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
  • Propose, model, and evaluate new hardware features to accelerate core DL kernels and LLM workloads.
  • Collaborate with DL researchers, hardware architects, and software engineers across teams.
  • Keep current with deep learning research and translate findings into architecture proposals.

Requirements

Key technical skills and experience required or strongly preferred.

  • Must-have: 2+ years of relevant experience in at least some of the following: computer architecture (GPU and system-level), performance analysis and optimization, LLM workloads (including parallelization and fusion strategies), and core DL kernels (matrix multiply, attention, convolution).
  • Must-have: Programming fluency in C++.
  • Must-have: Experience with GPU computing (CUDA).
  • Must-have: Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Nice-to-have: Python proficiency and additional system-level architecture experience for datacenter or embedded platforms.

Education Requirements

MS or PhD in computer science, computer architecture, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. (The posting also targets new college graduates for 2026.)
