Job Title

Cyber Security Leader - Connectivity

Role Summary

Serve as the cybersecurity lead for wireless connectivity platforms at the Oslo site, defining security requirements, architectures, and standards across hardware and software for embedded wireless devices.

Focus on system-level security design, threat analysis, and cross-team coordination to deliver secure, usable, and resource-efficient solutions for devices used in industrial, automotive, and consumer products.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 5 years of relevant embedded security experience required.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include architecture, analysis, and coordination across hardware, firmware, and software teams.

  • Define security requirements for wireless connectivity devices and communication stacks.
  • Analyze system use cases, threats, and vulnerabilities; assess attack surfaces.
  • Design secure architectures covering HW–SW interactions, secure storage, cryptography, and security boundaries.
  • Perform threat analysis and coordinate mitigations for risks such as physical tampering and side-channel attacks.
  • Work with hardware and software teams to ensure secure coding practices and provide training.
  • Lead third-party security activities, including secure code reviews and penetration testing.
  • Monitor security standards and regulations and drive their adoption across teams.

Requirements

Minimum technical requirements and preferred qualifications.

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded security.
  • Strong embedded firmware development skills.
  • System-level understanding of security architectures for embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of security regulations, standards, and processes.
  • Understanding of security in communication protocols and basic wireless communication systems knowledge.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with software engineering processes and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional and international teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (as stated in the posting).
