Customer Success Manager (Silicon)
Role Summary
The Customer Success Manager (CSM) is the primary program and customer-success lead for Arm’s strategic hyperscaler accounts, driving adoption of Arm technologies across cloud and AI infrastructure. The role leads governance of complex engagements, coordinates cross-functional Arm and partner teams, and ensures measurable business outcomes.
Reports into the Strategic Account Team and works closely with Account Managers, Field Application Engineers, Product and Engineering. Candidate must have the right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Experience Level
Mid-level; 5–7 years of relevant experience in technical program/project management, applications engineering, or strategic program management.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate customer success programs and cross-functional delivery for strategic hyperscaler accounts.
- Serve as primary customer success and program management lead for assigned North American hyperscaler account(s).
- Lead cross-functional engagements involving partner and Arm engineering, architecture, silicon, software, platform, and operations teams.
- Run program reviews, governance meetings, and executive business reviews to align on goals, risks, milestones, and success metrics.
- Own customer success plans, program dashboards, and delivery tracking across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate execution across Arm business units, product management, engineering teams, and ecosystem partners to meet customer commitments.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical, operational, and interpersonal blockers to delivery.
- Advocate the voice of the customer internally and partner with Account Managers to expand adoption and strategic growth.
- Support critical customer concerns and ensure effective communication between customer leadership and Arm teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical program leadership experience and domain knowledge in silicon and datacenter platforms.
- 5–7 years in Technical Program/Project Management, Applications Engineering, Strategic Program Management, or similar technical leadership roles.
- Proven success leading large-scale silicon programs involving CPUs, semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, server platforms, AI systems, or data center technologies across multiple engineering teams and external partners.
- Strong understanding of IP and SoC development lifecycles, hardware/software co-development, system integration, and platform enablement processes.
- Ability to engage effectively with engineering teams and executive stakeholders; strong influencing and collaboration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills; able to prioritize and manage complex programs calmly.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with Arm architecture, solutions, tools, and ecosystem.
- Knowledge of CPU, system IP/interconnect, cloud-native stacks, virtualization, AI/ML frameworks, and datacenter operations.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Program management certifications are noted as preferred.
