Job Title
Customer Success Manager
Role Summary
The Customer Success Manager (CSM) coordinates program delivery and technical integration for advanced customer silicon projects. Reporting into the account team and working closely with the Account Manager and Field Application Engineer, the CSM manages program schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication across Arm and customer teams from design through mass production.
Experience Level
Mid-level — typically 5–7 years of relevant experience in program/project management, applications engineering, or technical account management.
Responsibilities
Manage and govern complex customer silicon programs, maintain clear status and risk visibility, and drive cross-team execution.
- Own end-to-end customer silicon program delivery: planning, verification, sign-off, tape-out, EVT/DVT/PVT, and mass production ramp.
- Maintain the central program dashboard and executive-level reporting to communicate status, schedule, risks, and mitigations.
- Coordinate cross–business-unit initiatives and align internal teams to customer priorities and Statements of Work (SoWs).
- Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and keep a living RACI to ensure clear ownership.
- Facilitate timely issue resolution and follow-up on action items across teams.
- Lead customer reviews, set shared expectations, and act as the primary liaison between Arm and customer engineering/leadership.
- Implement structured program governance, disciplined change management, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
Requirements
Key qualifications and skills. "Must-have" items first, followed by "Nice-to-have" items.
Must-have
- 5–7 years of program/project management, applications engineering, or technical account management experience, ideally in semiconductor or SoC domains.
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional technology programs and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of IP and SoC development lifecycles from pre-silicon through production.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing skills, and experience engaging with executive-level audiences.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills; able to manage competing priorities and drive decisions.
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with Arm solutions, tools, and ecosystem.
- Understanding of CPU, system IP, and interconnect architectures.
- Program management certifications and experience in global, customer-facing semiconductor program delivery.
- Experience running program governance, executive dashboards, and detailed customer-facing plans.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required. Program management certifications (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are preferred.
