Customer Integration Engineer (HBM)

Role Summary

The Customer Integration Engineer is a hands-on technical role within the Customer Engineering Technical Leadership function focused on integrating advanced HBM products into customer systems. The role partners across product development, system architecture, build, front-end and back-end process, package failure analysis, qualification, and test.

Work requires technical problem-solving with cross-functional teams and regular use of AI tools in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical engagement with customers and internal teams to enable product integration and qualification.

  • Apply deep technical knowledge across domains such as product engineering, system engineering, build, front-end/back-end process, package failure analysis (PFA), qualification, and test.
  • Integrate customer requirements into internal design and manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in technical reviews, debug sessions, and failure analysis activities.
  • Collaborate with build, product engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Support yield improvement and qualification efforts tied to customer programs.
  • Enable successful integration of advanced HBM products into customer systems and communicate technical status to stakeholders.

  • Must-have: Hands-on experience in one or more of: product development, system build, front-end/back-end process, PFA, qualification, or test.
  • Must-have: Experience collaborating with technical leads and customer-facing teams during technical discussions.
  • Must-have: Regular development and use of AI tools as part of daily operations.
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of HBM architecture, packaging technologies, and industry-standard processes.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to rapidly learn new technical domains.
  • Nice-to-have: Clear written and verbal technical communication for internal and external collaborators.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field was requested in the posting.
