Role Summary
Provide technical application support for embedded and automotive customers using NXP microcontrollers and related components. Work with product engineering and customers to develop, validate, and deliver application-level solutions and resolve technical issues.
Experience Level
Mid-level β 4β5 years of relevant experience in embedded systems and automotive electronics.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop application-level technical solutions for customers using microcontrollers and PMICs.
- Debug and resolve customer hardware and software issues; provide root-cause analysis.
- Support integration and troubleshooting of in-vehicle networking protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Perform lab measurements and validation using oscilloscopes, debuggers, logic analyzers, and simulation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet application and system requirements.
- Maintain customer relationships and promote product adoption through technical engagement.
- Travel occasionally for customer visits and field support (approximately 30%).

Must-have:
- 4β5 years experience in embedded systems with microcontrollers and automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Experience with power-supply design and PMICs.
- Proficiency with lab measurement techniques and tools: oscilloscope, debuggers, logic analyzers.
- Good written and spoken English and strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Willingness to travel ~30%.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience promoting semiconductor devices or providing application support in a vendor environment.
Education Requirements
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
