Job Title

Connectivity Systems Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Develop, execute, and maintain Bluetooth and/or Wi‑Fi connectivity tests and their automation to validate product functionality and interoperability. Collaborate with architecture, design, and pre/post‑silicon validation teams to improve test infrastructure and provide actionable debug feedback.

This on‑site role in Bangalore supports validation for wireless products such as routers, access points, Bluetooth devices and clients.

Entry-level — 1+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Create, define, and enhance system validation environments and test suites for Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi.
  • Execute Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi functional, performance and stress tests on hardware and software platforms.
  • Identify, reproduce, and document software and hardware issues; produce clear bug reports and test artifacts.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Analyze and interpret test results and provide feedback to enable debug and design improvements.
  • Maintain awareness of Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi standards and incorporate them into validation processes.

Requirements

Key technical skills and attributes:

  • Working knowledge of Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth profile/stack/firmware validation (must-have).
  • Experience with test automation and scripting, especially Python (must-have).
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with network protocol analyzers (e.g., Ellisys, Wireshark).
  • Exposure to WLAN coexistence (Coex), OEM, or IOP testing with Bluetooth.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Gen AI agents and their integration into validation workflows.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with routers, access points, or client device validation at system level.
  • Experience in post‑silicon validation and test infrastructure development.
  • Familiarity with firmware debugging and hardware bring‑up processes.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized college. (Education statement provided in source.)
