Connectivity Systems Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Develop, execute and maintain Bluetooth and/or Wi‑Fi validation tests and their automation for post‑silicon connectivity products. Work with cross‑functional teams (architecture, design, pre‑silicon validation, firmware and software) to improve test infrastructure, debug features, and product interoperability.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include test development, execution, automation and issue reporting for wireless connectivity products.
- Create, define and enhance system validation environments and test suites for Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi.
- Execute validation and testing on hardware and software platforms (routers, access points, client and Bluetooth devices).
- Run performance and stress tests; analyze and interpret test results.
- Identify, reproduce and report software and hardware issues; produce detailed bug reports and documentation.
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures and automated test scripts/tools to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware and software teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain awareness of Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi standards and incorporate them into testing processes.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience for the role.
- Approximately 1+ years of experience in a related validation or test role.
- Foundational or working knowledge of Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth profile/stack/firmware validation.
- Experience with test automation and scripting (Python).
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows and macOS environments.
- Hands‑on experience with network protocol analyzers (for example, Ellisys or Wireshark).
- Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong analytical skills, ability to troubleshoot complex systems, and effective written and verbal communication.
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to WLAN coexistence (Coex), OEM/IOP tests with Bluetooth and firmware validation.
- Experience testing routers, access points and client devices.
- Familiarity with Gen AI agents and their integration into validation tasks.
Education Requirements
