Job Title

Connectivity Systems Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Develop, execute and maintain Bluetooth and/or Wi‑Fi validation tests and their automation for post‑silicon connectivity solutions. Work with architecture, design, firmware, and pre‑silicon validation teams to improve test infrastructure, provide debug feedback, and verify interoperability and performance of wireless products.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing and running system validation tests, reporting issues, and improving automation.

  • Create, define, and enhance system validation environments and test suites for Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi.
  • Execute validation on hardware and software products (routers, access points, Bluetooth and client devices).
  • Perform performance, stress, interoperability, and coex tests; reproduce and document software/hardware issues.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and detailed bug reports.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools to improve test efficiency.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback for debug and product improvement.
  • Stay current with Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi standards and integrate them into validation processes.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and practical experience.

  • Experience with Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth profile/stack/firmware validation.
  • Experience with test automation and scripting, especially Python.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with network protocol analyzers (e.g., Ellisys, Wireshark).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.

Nice-to-have: exposure to WLAN Coex/OEM/IOP tests, experience with routers/access points, and familiarity with integrating Gen AI agents into validation workflows.

Education Requirements

Engineering degree (Bachelor's) in Electronics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized college. The posting specifies ~1+ years of related work experience.
