Job Title

Connectivity Systems Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Work on post-silicon validation of Bluetooth and/or Wi‑Fi connectivity for hardware and software products. The role focuses on developing, executing, and automating connectivity tests, improving test infrastructure, and collaborating with architecture, design, and firmware teams to debug and validate wireless features.

Entry-level. The posting requests approximately 1+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include hands-on testing, test development, and collaboration across teams.

  • Create, define, and enhance system validation environments and test suites for Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi.
  • Execute performance, interoperability, and stress tests on routers, access points, client devices, and Bluetooth devices.
  • Identify, reproduce, and document software and hardware issues; produce detailed bug reports and test documentation.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts to improve test efficiency.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Analyze test results and recommend changes to validation coverage and infrastructure.
  • Stay current with Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi standards and incorporate relevant updates into test processes.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; indicates practical, hands-on validation role.

  • Practical experience validating Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth stacks, profiles, firmware, or related functionality.
  • Experience with test automation and scripting, specifically Python.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and macOS environments used in validation.
  • Hands-on experience with network protocol analyzers (for example, Ellisys, Wireshark).
  • Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems, analyze results, and write clear bug reports.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work on-site as required by the role.

Nice-to-have:

  • Exposure to WLAN coexistence (Coex), OEM/IOP test flows involving Bluetooth.
  • Experience integrating Gen AI Agents into validation workflows.

Education Requirements

Engineering degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (as stated: "Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical from a reputed college").
