Connectivity Systems Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining Bluetooth and/or Wi‑Fi connectivity tests and their automation for post‑silicon validation. Works with cross‑functional teams (architecture, design, pre‑silicon validation, firmware, software) to improve test infrastructure and provide debug feedback.
On‑site presence in Bangalore is required.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include system validation, test execution, automation support, and bug reporting.
- Create, define, and enhance system validation environments and test suites for Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi.
- Execute validation and testing on hardware and software products (routers, access points, Bluetooth and client devices).
- Perform performance, interoperability, and stress tests for Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi.
- Identify, reproduce, and report software and hardware issues; produce detailed bug reports and documentation.
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts/tools to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Analyze and interpret test results; provide actionable feedback for debug and product improvement.
- Maintain and improve post‑silicon automation test infrastructure and validation workflows.
- Keep test methods aligned with the latest Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi standards.
Requirements
Technical skills and experience required to perform the role.
Must‑have:
- Approximately 1+ years of experience in a related validation or test role.
- Foundational or working knowledge of Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth profile/stack/firmware validation.
- Experience with test automation and scripting (Python).
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS).
- Hands‑on experience with network protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark, Ellisys).
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
Nice‑to‑have:
- Exposure to WLAN coexistence (Coex), OEM/IOP testing with Bluetooth.
- Experience with routers, access points, and client device validation.
- Familiarity with Gen AI agents and their integration into validation tasks.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized college; approximately 1+ years of relevant work experience was specified in the posting.
