  • Design and implement compiler features and optimizations for Intel architectures.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineering to support new processor features via compiler support.
  • Develop and maintain components of Clang, DPC++, SYCL technologies, and related tools.
  • Create and maintain test cases to validate new functionality and ensure reliability.
  • Contribute upstream to clang/LLVM open-source communities.
  • Improve parallelization and vectorization support to boost performance.
  • Work with external partners, standards groups, and other companies to align on compiler solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve complex software bugs using systematic debugging and analysis.

Must-have technical skills and experience below. Preferred items are listed as nice-to-have.

  • Must-have: 3+ years of professional C/C++ programming experience, including object-oriented design and data structures.
  • 3+ years of experience with LLVM compiler technologies.
  • 2+ years contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with debugging and performance-analysis techniques relevant to compilers and generated code.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience developing and maintaining production-grade compilers.
  • Familiarity with clang, LLVM, or MLIR frameworks.
  • Experience with parallel/offload programming models (OpenMP, SYCL, CUDA) or GPU programming.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and advanced debugging approaches.

Education Requirements

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Informatics, or a related technical discipline. Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field. (No certifications or explicit equivalent-experience language specified.)
