Role Summary
Staff NPI Product Lead responsible for driving end-to-end execution of product launches within the Cloud Memory Business Unit. Ensures alignment among engineering, operations, supply chain, and customer teams to meet sample demand, product readiness, and supply targets.
Focuses on program execution, data accuracy, cross-functional coordination, and enabling successful high-volume product launches.
Experience Level
Senior-level role. Requires 5+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, product management, NPI, or related roles.
Responsibilities
Accountable for delivering new product introductions and coordinating the teams required for successful product ramp.
- Drive end-to-end new product introduction activities: sampling, qualification, and production ramp.
- Coordinate engineering, operations, supply chain, and customer teams to satisfy sample demand and production needs.
- Manage program schedules, risks, and data accuracy to enable timely supply readiness.
- Translate data into actionable insights to inform trade-offs and decisions.
- Leverage planning and execution systems to track readiness and metrics.
- Lead continuous improvement of processes, tools, and reporting supporting NPI.
- Communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to global stakeholders.
- Does not include finalizing sales agreements, executing or terminating contracts, pricing negotiations, or contract authorization.
Requirements
Core qualifications and relevant skills for immediate contribution.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, product management, NPI, or related roles.
- Proven track record supporting new product introductions (sampling, qualification, or production ramp).
- Strong program management and execution skills in high-volume, detail-oriented environments.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional and global teams across engineering, operations, and supply chain.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with planning/execution systems and data analytics tools (examples: SAP, TeamCenter, Power BI) preferred.
- Experience with memory technologies (DDR, HBM, LPDDR, GDDR) or other high-volume semiconductor products is desirable.
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience enhancing processes, tools, or reporting.
Education Requirements
Advanced degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted. No specific bachelor's degree, certifications, or other academic credentials were mandated in the posting.
