CMBU New Product Introduction Lead

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end execution of new product introductions for the Cloud Memory Business Unit, coordinating engineering, operations, supply chain, and customer teams to ensure sample fulfillment, product readiness, and supply for successful launches.

Responsible for program execution, cross-functional alignment, and delivering accurate data and reporting to support launch decisions and ramp activities.

Experience Level

Senior level. The role requires substantial practical experience; minimum specified experience is 5+ years in semiconductor product engineering, product management, NPI, or related roles.

Responsibilities

Primary duties focus on planning and executing product launches and coordinating across functions to meet sampling, qualification, and production ramp objectives.

  • Drive end-to-end product launch execution, including sample demand, qualification, and production ramp activities.
  • Align engineering, operations, supply chain, and customer teams on readiness and delivery schedules.
  • Manage program schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation to meet high-volume manufacturing requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and produce reporting to inform launch decisions and trade-offs.
  • Coordinate global teams and complex supply chain activities to secure supply and meet demand.
  • Identify process or tool improvements and lead continuous-improvement efforts for NPI workflows and reporting.
  • This role does not finalize sales agreements, execute contracts, negotiate pricing, or authorize contracts.

Requirements

Must-have technical and program skills, plus preferred (nice-to-have) experience listed separately.

  • Must-have: 5+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, product management, NPI, or related roles.
  • Must-have: Demonstrated experience supporting new product introductions (sampling, qualification, or production ramp).
  • Must-have: Strong program management and execution skills in high-volume, detail-oriented environments.
  • Must-have: Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain) and communicate effectively in fast-paced settings.
  • Must-have: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with memory technologies (DDR, HBM, LPDDR, GDDR) or other high-volume semiconductor products.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with planning and execution systems such as SAP, TeamCenter, and Power BI.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience using data analytics or AI-enabled tools to improve operations and decision-making.
  • Nice-to-have: Exposure to demand planning, supply management, and product lifecycle execution across global teams.

Education Requirements

Advanced degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted. The posting references engineering or related technical fields and allows equivalent experience in lieu of an advanced degree.
