Chip Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Work on NVIDIA's Networking Silicon Engineering team to verify high-speed communication ASICs, focusing on correctness, throughput, and low latency. The role covers block-level verification, integration, and full-chip validation while collaborating with cross-functional engineering groups.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include verification, integration, and cross-team collaboration.

  • Verify chip blocks/entities against specifications.
  • Develop and validate integration and full-chip models.
  • Work with organization-wide groups to integrate changes and resolve issues.

Requirements

Key must-have and preferred qualifications (education summarized below).

Must-have:

  • 2+ years of experience in verification or a similar engineering role.
  • High level of English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Specman.
  • Background with UVM/SystemVerilog.
  • Knowledge of HDL such as Verilog or VHDL.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
