Chip Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for RTL verification of performance and power-management IPs within a combined design and verification team. The role focuses on building reference models, executing verification plans and simulations, and collaborating with Architecture and Design teams to ensure silicon meets performance and power targets.
Experience Level
Mid-level — typically requires 3+ years of RTL verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Work within a combined design and verification team focused on performance and power-management IPs.
- Develop reference models and verification environments.
- Plan and execute simulations and verification activities to validate functionality and performance against specifications.
- Analyze simulation results, debug RTL and testbench issues, and drive fixes with design owners.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Micro-Architecture and Design teams during development cycles.
Requirements
Must-have and desirable qualifications:
- Must-have: 3+ years of experience in RTL verification.
- Must-have: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effective team collaborator.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (as stated in the posting).
