Chip Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's Switch Silicon design team within the Networking business unit to develop and verify high-performance switch silicon blocks. The role is hands-on and combines design and verification activities across architecture, micro-architecture, and firmware teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career. The posting indicates ~2+ years of relevant verification experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Primary engineering and verification activities for switch silicon core units.
- Work in a combined design and verification team on switch silicon core blocks.
- Build reference models; verify and simulate chip blocks/entities against specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, and Firmware teams.
Requirements
Key qualifications and preferences.
- Must-have: Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in dynamic verification (2+ years is an advantage).
- Nice-to-have: Previous experience in networking is an advantage.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
