Chip Design Engineer

Role Summary

Member of NVIDIA's Networking Silicon engineering team focused on encryption accelerators. Work covers design, micro-architecture and verification of chip blocks with strict power, area and performance constraints.

Experience Level

Entry / Early career β€” typically around 2+ years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

The role involves design and verification across the full chip development lifecycle and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Design and verify chip blocks/entities according to specifications with attention to power, area and performance.
  • Perform RTL design, frontend design tasks and verification as required.
  • Participate in micro-architecture tradeoffs and implementation decisions.
  • Collaborate with firmware and other global teams during development.
  • Work in a hybrid home-office mode, splitting time between office and remote work.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience in chip design or verification.
  • Proficiency in English (high level).
  • Team player with strong motivation and ability to work in a professional engineering environment.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Specman.
  • Knowledge of encryption algorithms or accelerator design.
  • Experience in RTL frontend ASIC design.
  • Familiarity with Verilog.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
