Chip Design Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Chip Design group to design and verify high-speed communication silicon blocks with strong emphasis on throughput and latency. The role works across micro-architecture, firmware, RTL design/verification and system integration.

Work includes developing and integrating the PCIe Gen7 standard across multiple chip families.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include design and verification of chip blocks and close collaboration across engineering disciplines.

  • Design and verify RTL blocks/entities to meet functional and performance specifications.
  • Collaborate with micro-architecture, firmware, integration and system teams throughout chip development.
  • Develop and integrate PCIe Gen7 functionality across GPUs, CPUs and NICs.
  • Create, run and debug verification environments and support silicon bring-up and integration testing.

Requirements

Must-have technical capabilities and skills.

  • Experience in Verification or Design (ASIC/RTL work).
  • High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated motivation to learn and grow in a technical engineering role.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of the PCI Express (PCIe) standard.
  • Proven experience in RTL frontend ASIC design or advanced verification methodologies.
  • Experience with Specman.
  • Background in RTL microarchitecture and coding.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
