Chip Design and Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join the NVIDIA Networking switch-silicon design team to develop and verify core chip units focused on quality of service. The role combines design and verification responsibilities to deliver high-throughput, low-latency switch silicon under power, area, and performance constraints.

Entry-level / Early-career — 0–4 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include design and verification tasks across switch silicon blocks and cross-team collaboration.
- Work in a combined design and verification team developing switch-silicon core units focused on QoS.
- Build reference models and perform verification and simulation of chip blocks according to specifications.
- Optimize implementations for power, area, and performance constraints.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, and Firmware teams to align implementations and verify interfaces.
Requirements
Minimum and preferred attributes for candidates.
- 0–4 years of relevant industry or project experience.
- Completion of programming and logic design courses is an advantage.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams and follow specifications.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Completion of programming and logic design coursework is preferred.
