Role Summary

Join TI's 12-month Career Accelerator Program (TMG Development) as a Test Equipment Engineer focused on maximizing test equipment utilization, reducing downtime, and improving tool performance through automation and data-driven approaches.

The role combines technical training and on-the-job experience to accelerate a new graduate's development while delivering measurable improvements in yield, reliability, and cost.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” open to fresh graduates and applicants with up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include improving tool uptime and reliability, reducing costs, and advancing automation and maintenance strategies.

  • Increase equipment utilization, yield, and reliability.
  • Introduce and implement predictive maintenance models to reduce downtime and prevent defects.
  • Plan and execute legacy tool sunset and roadmap transitions to reduce risk and cost.
  • Drive cost-per-tool reduction via lean methods and productivity improvements.
  • Develop automation, AI, and machine-learning solutions to enhance tool performance and accuracy.
  • Improve foundational practices and workforce readiness through system and skillset development.

  • Must-have: Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience; able to participate in a 12-month development program.
  • Must-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Nice-to-have: Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering required. Degree level: Bachelor's degree. CGPA 3.0 or above. Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
