Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role in Texas Instruments' Career Accelerator Program (CAP). Participants receive structured technical and professional training and perform hands-on product, test, or validation engineering to support development, qualification, and manufacturing of analog and embedded processing IC products.

The role supports product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield improvement projects, and serves as a primary operational contact for assigned product portfolios, working with cross-functional and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.

Experience Level

Entry-level / early career (new graduate). No specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include hands-on engineering across product, test, and validation functions:

• Support new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet profitability and manufacturing targets for assigned products.
• Act as primary point of contact for operational aspects of assigned product portfolio; resolve customer quality and application issues.
• Participate in test software and hardware development, product debugging, test optimization, and capability verification for manufacturing.
• Work on device qualification and reliability testing, failure verification, and device debug using bench setups and lab equipment.
• Collaborate with wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites and lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication; ability to build working relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, manage time effectively, and deliver projects on schedule.
• Hands-on aptitude for lab work, debugging and bench setups, and collaborating across engineering functions.
• Preferred technical skills: familiarity with schematics/layouts, basic analog circuitry concepts, programming in C/C++ (LabVIEW recommended), and use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. Cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0 or higher as stated by the posting.
