Career Accelerator Program – Digital IC Design & DV Engineer

Role Summary

Work on digital portions of high-performance delta-sigma ADCs and sensor analog front ends (AFEs) as part of a Career Accelerator Program. The role combines hands-on RTL design, design verification, architecture work, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver silicon used in medical, automotive, and other industries.

Experience Level

Mid-level. No explicit years of experience specified; role is offered through an early-career accelerator but expects independent responsibility for design and verification tasks.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include design, verification, and support through silicon bring-up and qualification.

  • Derive digital design requirements from system specifications and coordinate with systems teams to resolve gaps.
  • Define design architectures (filter design, ARM core integration, A/D control, and interfaces).
  • Perform RTL design and own design verification activities, schedules, and technical deliverables.
  • Conduct design reviews and produce design, verification, and product documentation.
  • Improve methodologies and work with Design Automation to enhance tools and processes.
  • Support test and validation by generating and reviewing test plans.
  • Participate in silicon debug, characterization, and qualification support.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional abilities.

  • Familiarity with RTL design using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
  • Experience or demonstrated ability in design verification methodologies and ownership of verification tasks.
  • Proficiency with scripting (Python) for automation and verification flows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage time to meet project schedules.
  • Initiative to drive improvements in processes and tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with coursework in Digital IC design and/or Verification. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher. Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
